Gregory C. Persak, M.D. is the Medical Director of The Center for Eye Care & Optical. He is also the Medical Director of the Northwell Melville Surgery Center.
Gregory Persak, M.D. obtained his B.A. from Boston University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Betta Kappa. He attended Boston University Medical School and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Willig is a Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he obtained his undergraduate degree in chemistry. He attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he obtained his MD degree with honors. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at NYU and the Manhattan VA hospitals, he completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He continued his training with a Fellowship in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis (inflammatory diseases of the eye) at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Alexander Rabinovich is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in surgery of the eyelids, orbit and lacrimal system, as well as facial cosmetic surgery and cosmetic injections of Botox and facial fillers.
Dr. Todd H. Lustig received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Emory University in 1991. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 1995.
Dr. Lustig served his externship at the VA Hospital in Northport, Long Island, NY. Dr. Lustig is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Nassau County Optometric Association.
Dr. George Wollman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fordham University in 1976 and graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in 1981.
He has served as Director of Optometry for Mobile Health Services in The Hudson Valley and is currently specializing in advanced contact lens fitting.
Dr. Mitali Sanghani graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology in 2011 after studying abroad in Rome, Paris and Dublin. Continuing on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 2014. She then served as a resident at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center specializing in low vision, vision rehabilitation and ocular disease in Northport, NY.
I have always been treated with respect and found all staff to be extremely courteous and professional at all times. I moved to Shirley in 2016 but still travel back to the Eye Center for my eye care as I feel confident that I'm getting the best care available to me on Long Island.
The Center for Eye Care and Optical is a fabulous place for all your needs! I would highly recommend it to everyone.
