For over three decades, The Center for Eye Care and Optical has been delivering exceptional medical care to the community of West Islip, New York. As a longstanding institution, we have been at the forefront of eye care, committed to providing outstanding services to our patients.

Dr. Strachovsky, a native of Long Island, brings his expertise as a retinal specialist to our esteemed practice. His journey with The Center for Eye Care and Optical began during his medical training when he had the privilege of being mentored by our founder, Dr. James Collins. Under Dr. Collins' guidance, Dr. Strachovsky honed his skills and gained valuable knowledge that has fueled his passionfor ophthalmology.

Following the completion of his training, Dr. Strachovsky returned to his Long Island roots and becamean integral part of our practice in 2016. His dedication to the field and his commitment to our patients have been evident from day one. With his exceptional skills and profound understanding of eye care, Dr. Strachovsky is poised to contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of one of Long Island's last independent medical practices.
